...LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST MONDAY... * WHAT...Flooding of lakeshore parks, trails, parking lots, and other low-lying areas along the Lake Michigan shore expected. Peak waves of 6 to 9 feet are expected with occasional higher waves possible. * WHERE...Northern Cook, Lake IL and Central Cook Counties. * WHEN...Until 3 AM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Large waves combined with high lake levels may lead to minor flooding of lakeshore parks, trails, parking lots, and other low-lying areas along the immediate lakeshore. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ice on Lake Michigan along parts of the immediate shore line may mitigate some impacts of lakeshore flooding.
